What People Say
Most Liked
The oxtails here receive rave reviews, cherished for their tender, flavorful meat that melts in your mouth. The rich seasoning strikes a perfect balance, avoiding excessive saltiness while enhancing the dish's natural flavors. Diners also love the generous portion sizes, assuring that no one leaves hungry. The curry goat is another favorite, featuring tender chunks of meat immersed in a delightfully spicy sauce. Patrons often highlight the freshness and quality of the vegetables paired with their meals, such as the seasoned collard greens and crispy cabbage. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service round out the experience, contributing to its reputation as a welcoming place for all. Plus, the prices consistently impress customers, especially given the substantial servings.
Most Disliked
While many are enthusiastic about their meals, the restaurant has faced a few critiques, primarily around the limited parking options during peak hours. Some guests find parking tight, especially on busy Saturday evenings. Additionally, the humble dining area might feel less appealing for those who prefer a more upscale dining experience. However, this simplicity is part of the charm that many appreciate. A few customers wish for a wider variety of desserts, as the selection is somewhat limited at this time. The restaurant's popularity on weekends sometimes leads to longer wait times, which can test the patience of eager diners hoping for a quick meal.

I was excited to try a small authentic place and this surely delivered. I ordered the oxtail which was the most expensive for the day, and the price was met with tender meat, rich flavor that wasn't too salty, tender collared greens and delicious rice. The portions were large and it would be plenty for both my wife and I. *Went back next week for curry chicken, with cabbage, rice and pease. Very pleased! The service I got was friendly, prompt and made me feel welcome when I was alone on Father's Day. It's a humble dining area, but I felt it was clean and I was comfortable. If you're looking for fancy ambiance, this might not be it, but if you want to feel welcomed with good food, this is it. Parking can be a little tight, but it's available!

Decidedly the best fried red snapper i've eaten from allentown to easton. Collard greens were deliciously seasoned and the carrots and onions paired amazingly with the fish. They give a nice size plate too for the price which seems to be unheard in the area. Definitely the only place I'll be getting snapper from while here. The chicken curry was also delectable and spicy. Delicious.

This place has some real food. Princess know her way around the kitchen. The menu is great and the food is better. It is a small spot with huge flavor. Slow down or you might drive past it. Located right across the street from the high school and there is usually parking anywhere on the surrounding streets. You won't be disappointed.
